This week’s #TOBcommunity spotlight is on Areej AbuAli (She/Her) this week, the founder of Women In Tech SEO. A support network aimed for women in the Technical SEO field, to discuss, share and learn from one another.

What organisation(s) do you run or work for?

Women in Tech SEO

How do you / your organisation support and celebrate marginalised people?

Women in Tech SEO is a support network aimed for women in the Technical SEO field, to discuss, share and learn from one another. The aim is to empower each other in a positive, inspiring and beneficial way, and to help build our network and accelerate our careers. In the past 2 years, we've grown to over 4K members, hosted 35 events and kicked off our very own podcast, interviews, newsletter, podcast, speaker hub and mentorship program. I run this community as my passion project alongside my full-time job, it takes up most of my evenings and weekends but I absolutely love every minute I spend on growing it.

What can we expect from you in the coming months?

A lot of the projects and events we've worked on so far took part within our closed community and group. This year, I'm keen to do more work on amplifying the brilliant women in the community to the marketing industry as a whole.

What’s your secret superpower?

Productive Procrastination. Every time I'm procrastinating that *one* task, I end up doing every other thing on my To Do list until there's nothing left except that *one *task. It's how I get most things done!

Favourite quote that sums up your philosophy on life:

If there's a will, there's a way
